What areas do you cover for deliveries?
Our core delivery coverage is across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Yorkshire. We also take on deliveries further afield across the UK. Contact us to discuss longer distance requirements.
Can you deliver to upper floors and properties with no lift?
Yes. This is one of the main reasons customers choose us over standard couriers. Our two-man teams handle stairs, narrow hallways, and awkward access properties as standard. Just let us know about any access considerations when you book.
How quickly can you collect from a store?
In most cases we can collect and deliver on the same day. For larger items or specific time slots we recommend booking the day before to guarantee availability.
Can you collect from a private seller on Facebook Marketplace or eBay?
Absolutely, this is one of our most popular delivery requests. We collect from the seller’s address, inspect the item before loading, and deliver it directly to your home. No need to hire a van or borrow a friend’s car.
Are deliveries insured
Yes. Every delivery handled by QSX Transport is covered by our full goods-in-transit insurance from the moment we collect to the moment we deliver.
Do you offer regular delivery contracts for businesses?
Yes. If your business has ongoing delivery requirements we can discuss a regular arrangement that works around your operations and budget. Get in touch to discuss your specific needs.
Can you handle multi-drop deliveries?
Absolutely. We regularly handle multi-drop runs across the Northwest, planning the most efficient route and executing every delivery professionally and on schedule.
PACKING & SETUP SERVICE
What areas do you cover for removals?
Our core removals coverage spans five counties across Northwest Englan, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Yorkshire. We also take on long-distance and nationwide moves across the whole of the UK when required. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, just give us a call or send us a WhatsApp and we’ll confirm straight away.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend moves and end-of-month dates which fill up fastest. That said, we always keep availability for short-notice and same-day bookings where we can. If your move is urgent, call us directly and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate you.
How is my quote calculated?
Your quote is based on several factors including the size of your property, the volume of items being moved, the distance between collection and delivery addresses, access conditions at both properties, the number of operatives required, and any additional services such as packing or furniture assembly. We always provide a fixed upfront price so there are no surprises on moving day.
Will the same team collect and deliver my belongings?
Yes. The same QSX Transport team that collects your belongings at the start of the day will deliver them to your new home. We don’t hand off your job to a third party at any point, your belongings stay with our team throughout.
Can you move large or heavy items like pianos, gym equipment, or safes?
Yes. We regularly move large and heavy items including gym equipment, large appliances, and bulky furniture. For particularly specialist or high-value items please let us know at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements and ensure the right equipment is on the van.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes. Every QSX Transport removal job is covered by full goods-in-transit insurance from the moment our team begins loading to the moment the last item is delivered. If you have any questions about our insurance coverage or have particularly high-value items, please speak to us when you book and we can advise accordingly.
REMOVAL
Do I need to provide any packing materials?
Not at all. We bring everything with us, boxes, bubble wrap, tape, labels, wardrobe boxes, and specialist wrapping materials. It’s all included in your quote.
Can you pack just part of my home if I’ve already done some myself?
Absolutely. We pick up exactly where you left off, whether that’s one room or half the house. Just tell us what’s been done and we handle the rest.
How long does packing take?
It depends on the size of your property and the volume of belongings. A typical 3-bedroom home takes our team around 4–6 hours to pack professionally. We’ll give you a realistic time estimate when we carry out your survey.
Will you unpack everything at the other end?
Yes, if you include our unpacking service, we open every box, remove all packaging waste, and place items in the rooms you specify. We also reassemble all furniture and install appliances so your new home is fully set up when we leave.
Is my packing covered by insurance?
Yes. All items packed by our team are covered by our goods-in-transit insurance throughout the move. Items packed by the customer themselves may have different coverage, ask us for details when you get your quote.
Can you handle packing for a commercial or office move?
Absolutely. Our packing service covers both residential and commercial moves of all sizes. We regularly pack offices, retail units, and business premises for relocation.
